Join Professional Photographer Jackie Hird on one of her Walking Photography Tours that take you around downtown St Augustine teaching you photography techniques to improve on your photography skills. Tours can be customized to your needs.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes are highly recommended on St Augustine's Oldest City streets, as we have cobbled and paved streets, uneven surfaces, and sandy areas. Clothing should be layered in case you get too hot or too cold.
What will we be photographing?
St Augustine has historic buildings, waterfront views, back streets overflowing with greenery and flowers, charming gates and accents on private properties. There's something for everyone. St Augustine has been a thriving community since 1565 tell me what you're interested in and I'll do my best to incorporate it.
What will I learn?
You will learn about light and composition and what makes a good photograph, this will be a learn and shoot experience. The more you practice the better you will become.
Can I bring a friend?
I highly encourage you to bring a friend, you already know each other's strengths and weaknesses and can help each other remember techniques to practice later.
Why should I hire you?
I have lived in St Augustine since 1988 and have been photographing professionally since 2004. I know the best places to go and time of day to get the best light. I can also take you to places off the beaten track that you have an interest in photographing.
